Step-by-Step Application Guide
For superior results, apply Coverit Marmorino Classic in thin, multi-coat layers using fine stainless steel plastering trowels over a properly primed substrate.
1. Substrate Preparation
First, prime your clean wall surface with Texprime. Allow the primed substrate to dry completely for at least 6 hours before applying plaster.
2. First & Second Base Coats
Next, apply your first and second coats evenly to smooth and level the surface. Ensure you allow a minimum of 12 hours of dry time between each coat.
3. Finishing Coat & Polishing
Afterward, apply the final thin coat. While the material sets, burnish and polish the surface firmly with a clean, stainless steel trowel to bring out its signature high-sheen marble effect. Allow 48 hours for a full cure.
4. Optional Surface Protection
Finally, coat the dry surface with wax. This optional step enhances overall gloss, deepens colour tones, and adds water resistance.
