Streamlined Application Guide
Coverit Petra simplifies the plastering process with a efficient two-step system over clean, dust-free substrates.
1. Substrate Priming
First, apply 1 coat of Texprime to your prepared substrate. This balances surface absorption and ensures an optimal bond for the plaster.
2. Additive Mixing
Next, pour the supplied pre-measured vermiculite package directly into the 20 kg PETRA bucket at the time of use. Stir thoroughly until the mineral aggregate spreads evenly throughout the paste.
3. Single-Coat Finishing
Finally, apply 1 coat of Coverit Petra using a stainless steel trowel. Work the wet plaster to achieve your desired rough stone face or burnish firmly for a smoother, polished stone look.
