Step-by-Step Application Guide
- Base Coat Preparation: Ensure your base surface is painted with your choice of colour and fully dry. (This base coat will show through the cracks).
- Apply Easy Crackle: Apply 2 coats of Easy Crackle Medium using a brush or roller.
- Drying Time: Allow the crackle medium to dry thoroughly for at least 4 hours.
- Topcoat Application: Brush or roll a coat of contrasting acrylic or latex paint over the crackle medium. Crackling will begin automatically within 1 hour!
- Sealing (For Furniture & High-Traffic Surfaces): Once completely dry, seal furniture or cabinetry with a clear Urethane Varnish to protect the distressed finish from wear and tear.
