Step-by-Step Application Guide
1. Surface Preparation
First, prime porous surfaces using Urban Limeprime (diluted 15% with clean water). This step ensures proper adhesion and consistent plaster absorption.
2. First Coat Application
Next, apply the first coat using a 13mm microfiber roller sleeve. Roll in random, multi-directional movements to build organic texture, then allow the surface to dry for 2 hours.
3. Second Coat & Compression
Afterward, apply the second coat using a 150mm putty knife or plastering trowel. Compress the material lightly with your blade to flatten high spots, then let it dry for 2 hours.
4. Burnishing
Once dry to the touch, run the edge of your clean blade over the plaster to burnish the surface. This action compresses the minerals, creating rich depth and your desired sheen level.
5. Sealing & Protection
Finally, apply your chosen protective sealer:

Low-Sheen Finish: Apply one coat of Urban Limeguard using a sponge.
